Let's Home the Servos!

Before we attach the servo horns, we need to make sure the motors are in their "Home" position (90°).

Wire Up the Servos

Connect the servos to the breadboard as shown in the diagram below.

Identify Your Servos

  • D5 (Yellow Jumper): Top Servo
  • D6 (Purple Jumper): Slide Servo

Upload the Code

Click the button below to open Kriya Station with the servo homing script pre-loaded. Then upload the code to your board.

Calibrate

Action

  1. Open the Serial Monitor.
  2. Type C and press Enter.

Result

The servos should wiggle slightly and then settle into their correct home positions (90°).

Important Tip

After calibration, leave the jumper wires attached to the servo connectors. This will help you easily identify which servo is which later on!
