How The Robot Thinks

See how your robot sorts gems by color — no code yet, just the idea.

Watch It In Action

Before we explain anything, just watch. This 30-second video shows exactly what your robot will do:

The Three Parts

Your robot has three main parts that work together:

The Eye — A color sensor that looks at each gem and figures out its color.

The Feeder — A motor that rotates the top platform to feed gems one at a time.

The Slide — A chute that tilts to drop gems into the right test tube.

How It Sorts

The robot repeats these 5 steps for every gem. (Click a card to learn more)

1

Collect

The top servo rotates to feed a gem from the hopper.

2

Inspect

The gem drops in front of the color sensor to check its color.

3

Match

The robot compares this to its memory and finds the best match.

4

Aim

The slide tilts to point at the right test tube for that color.

5

Drop

The gem rolls down the slide into the correct test tube.

Info

When there are no gems left, the robot stops automatically.
